Willen Lake has two lakes and over 100 acres to explore. So why not try out one of our walking, running or cycling routes and see if you can discover something new at Willen Lake. This walk takes you in a figure of 8 route around Willen Lake, taking a couple of hours this walk is great for a Sunday afternoon. This walk will take you on a 1-and-a-half-mile route through part of the north side of Willen Lake, taking time to pause at the Peace Pagoda. Enjoy this short walk around the stunning and unique Tree Cathedral, one of the jewels of The Parks Trust and a must see if visiting their parks. Take part in our family friendly trail of the North Lake at Willen. There's lots to see and plenty of activities to have a go at! Use this ideas sheet to help you create some beautiful natural art using materials found in our park! These activities are perfect for all ages and abilities. Mindfulness walks are great for our mental health and The Tree Cathedral is a peaceful place to unwind. Willen Lake is managed by The Parks Trust, which cares for over 6,000 acres of parkland and green space across Milton Keynes. The Parks Trust also works with around 6,000 school children and adults and approximately 200 volunteers.
