Willen Lake is Milton Keynes’ most popular park and is home to a whole host of watersports and activities for the whole family. It has around 1,000,000 visitors a year, drawing people from all over the UK.

Milton Keynes’ biggest free play area opens at Willen LakeWe are excited to announce that at midday on Friday 24th September 2021, Willen Lake will open its brand new play area. This new extended play area is over an acre in size and will be Milton Keynes’ biggest free to use play area.
Willen Lake is managed by The Parks Trust, which cares for over 6,000 acres of parkland and green space across Milton Keynes. The Parks Trust also works with around 6,000 school children and adults and approximately 200 volunteers.
