Willen Lake Statement on Coronavirus (COVID-19)

In order to protect lives, we must all follow the latest government advice in relation to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Please see the latest guidelines here: www.gov.uk/coronavirus

You can exercise or visit outdoor public places with the people you live with, your support bubble, or 1 person from another household.

If you feel unwell, or anyone in your household has symptoms, we ask that you please do not visit Willen Lake and follow the government advice to self-isolate.

Activities

From Thursday 5th November all our activities will be closed. If you have booked to take part in any activities between Thursday 5th November and Wednesday 2nd December, we will contact you shortly to arrange a full refund.

The Willen Observation Wheel (WOW MK) will also be closed during this period, if you have booked tickets for the wheel please contact them directly.

All events due to be taking place during 5th November to 2nd December will also be postponed until early next year.

Facilities

Our Public Toilets we be open at Willen Lake daily between 9am - 4pm, these will be regularly cleaned and monitored by our team, please follow onsite signage for guidance on accessing the toilet facilities.

The Café, One4six will remain open for takeaway only at Willen Lake. Where possible, the operators will ask customers to pay by card and preferably by using contactless payment.

Play areas and outdoor gym equipment

Play areas will remain open with the current guidance in place. However, all of our outdoor gym equipment will be closed and should not be used from Thursday 5th November until further notice. Find out more about the guidance and restrictions in place here.
