Dedicated SEN sessions at Splash 'n' Play!

Splash 'n' Play is one of the UK’s largest outdoor splash parks with over 60 unique water features. All of our sessions are designed to be inclusive, but we have created these new dedicated SEN sessions for children who would benefit from a less crowded environment. 

Our SEN sessions will run with reduced capacities in place. These sessions are suitable for children up to 16 years of age. 

Just like our general sessions, our SEN sessions run for 45 minutes and cost just £6 per child. Accompanying adults go free.

Sessions run every Wednesday, 4pm-4.45pm during term time and 11am-11.45am during school holidays.

  • Please note these sessions offer no extra support from staff, and parents/carers are required to accompany children at all times. 
  • Sessions during school holidays are followed by a general session, so please note there will be other customers arriving as your session ends.

Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need to book in advance?

    Yes, you need to book all Splash 'n' Play tickets in advance online and then bring your barcode to the kiosk to gain entry. By not selling tickets at the kiosk we can ensure that everyone gets into their session on time. 

  • I'm at Willen Lake now, can I book for later today?

    Yes, you can use a mobile device to book your tickets for sessions later the same day, subject to availability. Bookings can be made right up until the session start time.

  • Are there charges for bringing a baby?

    Charges apply for any child that goes on the splash pad. Babies in arms, that aren't taken onto the pad by their parents/carers, do not require a ticket.

  • What happens if it rains?

    Splash 'n' Play is safe to operate during rain, and as such we will not typically close if it's raining - you'll be getting wet anyway! However, we do have to close during thunderstorms for safety reasons. 

  • Are dogs permitted?

    Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in Splash 'n' Play under any circumstances. This is due to our strict water hygiene policy. 

  • Can I wear shoes?

    Shoes of any description are not permitted on the pad itself for hygiene reasons.

  • Is the water chlorinated?

    Yes, our water is treated just like a swimming pool to ensure it is safe and enjoyable for everyone. 

  • Do you have changing facilities?

    Yes, we have a limited number of changing rooms available at Splash 'n' Play.

  • When are you open?

    We are typically open every weekend and during school holidays between April and September. View session availability.
