RYA Start Sailing (Level 1)
The RYA Start Sailing course is for participants aged 16+ who are looking to take their first steps in the sailing world. This is a two day course and will teach participants the basics of handling a dinghy. On successful completion, participants will receive a formal RYA qualification. This course costs £199 per person.
Course content: How to sail in all directions, including an awareness of launching and recovering.
Ability afterwards: Able to sail in light winds under supervision.
No previous experience is required for this course.
