RYA Start Sailing (Level 1)
The RYA Start Sailing course is for participants aged 16 years and older who are looking to take their first steps in the sailing world. This is a two day course and will teach participants the basics of handling a dinghy. On successful completion, participants will receive a formal RYA qualification. This course costs £249 per person.
Course content: How to sail in all directions, including an awareness of launching and recovering.
Ability afterwards: Able to sail in light winds under supervision.
No previous experience is required for this course.
