Paddle Start Award (Paddleboarding)
Paddle Start Award (Paddleboarding) is run over a 5 hour session (1 day) with one of our qualified instructors. During the day you will learn how to safely launch and recover your stand up paddleboard both aided and unaided, forward paddling whilst prone, kneeling and standing, balance the board whilst kneeling and standing and learn how to turn and control your board in different conditions. You will also learn how to complete self-rescues and how to plan a journey. On completion, you will receive a Paddlesport Start Award issued by British Canoeing.
This course is for 8+ only. This course is priced at £99 per person.
