This month's walk is almost 5 miles and provides the chance to experience lots of great spaces including Broughton Brook, the Poplar Plantation, the River Ouzel and Middleton Park.

Women's Walking Network is a great way to get outdoors, discover new places, meet new people and keep active. Walks usually cover up to 5 miles in 2 hours and are at a moderate-brisk pace. A map of the route is available to download below.

Booking required at £1 per person. Please ensure you come dressed appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.

    This park follows the Broughton Brook, from Magna Park near the M1 through Brooklands, Broughton Gate, Broughton and Pineham. It offers local residents an attractive and quiet place to escape into green space within the city. At Broughton Gate next to Southwold Crescent there is a popular children's play area, with another located at Kidderminster Walk.
